Dinner and Conversation

Dinner and Conversation is a Simple, Basic and Maybe Much Needed.  I grew up in a Family of 6 Kids.. 3 Girls 3 boys.  We raised our own Beef and Pork much of my Youth.. My Dad Loved to Garden.  He often told us kids that during the Great Depression if he got a Soaked Biscuit in Gravy for Dinner…  It was a Good Day.  My Mom was and is a Amazing Cook.. never Feared trying something new..  So I have for many years wanted to just have Dinner with Friends.  The Wildwood Scene, we are all just Friends in love with Music and the Grand Old Lady.. So Lets just enjoy evenings of Fabulous Dinner with NO Agenda’s.. My Only real vision is that these meals will be prepared by different Chefs… Cooks… Grandma’s. I want the Dinners to be Different.. Unique… Full of Taste.  From different places around the World.Four Courses…  Time is Valuable… lets enjoy it.

Soup: Tomato Bisque

Main Entree: 16 oz Grilled Ribeye Steak seasoned with Bob Bell’s secret-seasonings to seize the grilled flavor of each marbled cut piece.

Sides: Creamy mashed russet Potatoes infused with Roasted Garlic and Fresh Herbs.Creamed Spinach – Fresh spinach, cooked low with sauteed shallots and garlic to concentrate its juices. Then a creamy Bechamel Sauce is added for a thick, rich pudding consistency. A last minute dash of Creme-Fraiche and Nutmeg tops it off.

Bread: Fresh baked Rustic steak rolls. Salty crunchy tops and buttery soft inside.

Salad: Fresh Garden Spring Mixed Salad with Blueberries, Roasted Salted pecans, and Garden Cherry tomatoes and Poppy Seed Dressing.

Dessert: Strawberry Shortcake with a Buttery Shortcake

Main Entree: Lobster-stuffed chicken. Chicken breast with succulent, buttery, Maine lobster and sherry-cracker stuffing tucked under a rich, cheesy, herbed Boursin sauce.

Sides: Rice Pilaf and Spinach Salad.

Soup: Watermelon Gazpacho, served with freshly made Naan flatbreads.

Dessert: Fresh wild blueberry pie/ a la mode.
